Forced Air Furnaces
Forced air heating systems are the type of central heating systems most frequently installed in North America. Chances are that if you aren’t sure what type of heating system you have then you probably have a forced air system. Forced Air systems, otherwise known as furnaces are responsible for using a fuel source (normally natural gas) into heat.
The harsh Winters in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa make owning a furnace that is both energy efficient furnace and capable a must.
The truth is that, your furnace is used for more than just heating your home. It is true that in the Winter your furnace is busy generating and circulating warm air to heat your home. It is also true that in the hot Summer months it is your furnaces job to circulate the cool air that is provided by working together with your air conditioner. If your furnace is properly equipped with a humidifier it can even help control dry air in the Winter months by adding humidity to the air.
Preventative Maintenance Service
Scheduled preventative maintenance is the key to a long lasting and healthy heating and cooling system. We recommend that you have your system serviced twice annually. A pre-Winter inspection (usually scheduled in late-Summer to early Fall) will check for any issues with your heating system and a pre-Summer inspection (usually scheduled in late Spring to early Summer) will make sure your system is ready to provide cool crisp air to your home all season long.
